Full Screen Map A quite steep summit overlooking Ladybower reservoir, which was where the RAF used to practise for the "Dambuster" raid in WW11. Report 1 SK202854 - Parking for quite a few cars here but it gets very busy. There is a pay and display car park over the road. From the car park, walk over the top of Ladybower dam. At the far side you can turn left and walk to the end of the forested land then head straight up to the summit. I went up directly from the dam, through the trees. It is very steep and will give the lungs a workout. Once out of the trees there is one last steep pull up to the summit. |
