 SO309440 - Park on wide grass verge. Note there were some deep tracks in the grass created by farm machinery, so choose your parking spot carefully.
 Access to the summit is through a farm gate on the outside of the bend in the road. Initially follow the track serving a private residence, then go straight on where it turns sharp left and keep close to the field boundary. After around 700 metres, take a line further right to pass by a lone tree from where you can see the access point to the common land.
