The summit is largely cover in heather with tracks and cut areas. It is managed for grouse shooting. The actually summit in one of two tumuli, which are more grassy. There is plenty of room for HF antennas and the VHF take-off is good despite there being hills of similar size around it. The highest hill in the group is Beacon Hill, a few metres higher.

Report 1
SO 11935 75544 - There is room for one smallish car by the cattle grid, if parked sensibly.
From parking spot walk NE for less than 100m up the track that goes to Little Moelfre farm. Where the track turns right go straight on following the PROW. Keep on the track that generally heads NNE, climbing steadily to the summit on the left.

Report 2
S011637605 - Room for several cars on the western side of the road. Keep you car within 15 yards of the road to stay legal.
From the parking spot cross the road and go to farm-type gate leading onto the common. I found it padlocked but the fence was easy to step over. With your back to the road you will see, to the left, a track heading roughly along a contour around the base of the first hill. Follow this to a col between this hill and Gors Lydon. Continue along the track on the left, keeping left on the assent, and you will reach the summit a few yards off the track on the right. Car to summit – around thirty minutes at a modest pace. There are several access points to this hill but this one has the easiest parking and the easiest assent.
