The route to this summit is made easy as it mostly follows the Dale High Way, which is a well trodden path.

 SD 88784 64924 - Room for 4/5 cars on grass verge just paste cattle grid.
 Walk down over cattle grid and then go through gate to the right (start of the Dales High Way). Follow to junction at SD 88116 64904 then bear left and and continue on to SD 87464 63984. Then turn right and follow on to gate at SD 87179 63879. Once through turn sharp right (now off the path) and follow faint and occasional track (keep wall to the right) for about 200m. The summit comes into view to the left.
