This summit is on Access Land but it is densely wooded with numerous small paths through it. The summit is an Iron Age hill fort, which adds to the challenges. There are no good views and take-off is not good. This might be one for HF, and although the vegetation presents a few challenges there is room for HF dipoles.

 SO 27776 60960 - From the B4362 turn off NW at the bend by Ditchyeld Cottage and the old Ditchyeld Bridge. After just over 200m at SO 27800 60874 turn right up the FC track (Offa’s Dyke Path). Parking is on the left just before the sharp right-hand bend. Room for several cars.
 From parking spot walk N on the path i.e. do not follow the metalled track. Keep going to the end of the wood and then take the PROW that cuts back S and then SE. This gets you into the wood at SO 28133 61171. From there the numerous paths can present a problem, so just keep going upwards! A GPS is extremely useful here. There might be better ways of getting to the summit!
