The summit is in the middle of a large area of pasture where a stand of trees has been felled. The AZ extends to the N and into the NRW forestry, which is Access land. However, the forestry nearest to the summit is not really suitable for radio operating. To make matters worse this is one of many areas of Access land in Britain that appears to have no public access i.e. no PROW leading to it. The owner of the summit field could not be identified during the visit.

 From the parking spot follow the Byway E and then SE. When the tree line to the left stops you will be able to see the summit on the left. It is possible that a short length of the Byway centred on SN59243821 is within the AZ, making Pedestrian Mobile possible, but this needs to be checked.
