This is one of those summits with a large AZ with a road going through it. It is perfectly possible to operate from the road verge as it is large enough in places for HF antennas. It is also a very quiet road. However, you should keep well away from the road edge and consider wearing a hi-vis vest or jacket. The summit is actually at a TP about 100m NE of the road on the edge of a coniferous plantation. Access to this would require permission.
