Full Screen Map This is a fine hill just SW of Builth Wells in the Wye Valley. There is plenty of room on top for HF antennas and TP to support a pole. The route up starts on a PROW which quickly joins Access Land. The main problem with this summit seems to be parking. Report 1 SO00474761 - This is a narrow road with no obvious parking places. I tried calling at both farmhouses with no response. A farmer, who rents some land here, let me park in front of a trailer he was storing. I suggest trying the houses first. There is room to park but it is clearly private. From the farm houses walk 30m E to where the PROW leaves the metalled road. The PROW takes you onto the Access Land. However, after just under 300m a track forks right off the PROW and this takes you onto Access Land and up to the summit. |
