A typical hill-fort summit with excellent views.

 NT894280 - Large, free car park at end of public road at Hethpool. Don't park on the grass verge. The car park is behind the trees on the left as you approach.
 Easy to access summit. Walk south-south-west along the estate road until you pass the trees on the right. Look right for a rough path up the hill through the bracken. There appears to be several alternative routes from a position half way up to the north-east of the summit. Ascent time around half an hour. Gaiters advised to minimise problems with ticks.
