 NT998323 - Park in minor road opposite village hall.
 Cross the B road and take lane towards Wooler Golf Club. The path is on the right about 50m from the end of the road, accessed via a stile. Ascend initially through gorse bushes to an open area where the path up the hill can be seen ahead. The path skirts the edge of the golf course and then goes around the remains of an ancient settlement. Take an OS map which shows these features and provides a guide to where you are on the hill.
