Full Screen Map Report 1 SD566838 - The road is very narrow but there are some parts where the grass verge is wide enough to park. Follow the bridleway south (the sign is missing). The west part of the summit can be approached from the bridleway without crossing any fences, a short steep climb from the bridleway. The trigpoint is the other side of a fence to this, by a phone (and paging - beware, this one is still transmitting!) mast. Report 2 SD566840 - Room for 1 car just after gate. Enter though gate at SD 56622 83931 (bridal way sign visible) follow path veering to the left for about 30 meters then a faint path towards the right in the direction of the drystone wall become visible follow this path, do not follow the obvious wide path to the left this is not the bridal way it will take you to the top on the HuMP but you will have to go over two gates and a barbed wire fence ( broken and only 30cm in height so can be stepped over). |
