Hard work even though it's only a short distance from the road. The view from the top is actually quite good as you are stood on top of a large rock, above the trees.

 SD369937 - There is a space at the side of the road (going south) at the bottom of the hill.
 Walk up the road to the top of the hill and take the signposted footpath on your right. When the footpath levels out, turn left into the trees. There is no path and the woodland is so thick my GPS didn't work. Keep climbing, the thick woodland finishes and there is thick bracken before some large rocks at the summit.
