 I took the same approach and asked at the farm for permission but it was not granted, they had some problems with the sheep and lambs and did not want anybody going onto the land. So it was plan B (I always try to have one for just these instances). I explained I will go to the Path that runs from SD 5351 6741(on Aughton Road) to SD 5326 6783 (on Kirkby Lonsdale Road (as seen on the OS map) they said that would be fine as long as don’t have a dog. The top section of the path is located on 140m topographic line and the summit being 163m thus it’s inside the activation zone.
