SD 914 283 - Take the road from Mereclough to Blackshaw Head (The Long Causeway). Park in the lay-by on the county border of Lancashire and Calderdale (W Yorks).
Enter the Access land on the Lancashire side of the border. Follow the path up the moor to the first fence, cross the stile and proceed to the triangulation pillar. It takes about 15 minutes.
