Good views from the summit, which is exposed with no shelter. There is plenty of room for antennas.

 SD 9782 3791 - Just outside and further up from the entrance to the furniture shop, Room for 2/3 cars.
 Walk up the road to SD 9769 3791 and turn right and follow the PROW which goes through a back garden with a stone stile at the end. Then go past a few farms and about 3 gates and join the Pennine Way over a stile at SD 9823 3851 (caution, stile is rotten).
