A large summit with no public right of way. The footpath goes around the summit not over it.

Report 1
SJ997819 - Two parking spots with room for two cars each.
From the parking spot walk a couple of hundred metres north up the road to pick up the footpath on the left. Caution – the traffic can be fast on this road. Follow the footpath uphill as it skirts around the summit. After about 500m I turned right and headed up to the summit. The highest spot I found was a dry stone wall junction. A bit of stealth may be required as I'm not sure how friendly the farmer is. Car - summit approx 25 mins.

Report 2
SJ982862 - Room for 3-4 cars on the B Road
From parking place there is a stile that has been recently repaired. Go over this and follow public path which winds its way up to the rocky outcrop on Black Hill section of the plateau. At SJ988825 go through the wall section which has collapsed and turn right towards summit. Don't be tempted to set up in the nice stone cairn to your right as in my opinion it is outside AZ at only 380m ASL. Instead continue on path until you reach the wall that cuts the path. This is well inside AZ and provides a good windbreak. This route is signed as a public right of way.
