A fairly large summit area with nothing to actually mark the highest spot. There is a finger post that seems to be at the high point according to the GPS.

 SK195739 - Room for a couple of cars either side of the road.
 Easy access. Just cross the stile and follow the obvious path to the summit. It is about 700m easy walking with 35m height gain. It took me 10-15 min.

 SK196729 - Room for one car just to the east of the cattle grid marked on the OS. More parking further along the road to the east.
 Head west over the cattle grid and locate the signposted footpath just after the sharp bend in the road. Head up hill past a finger posts, ascending a few steps and then steeply uphill. Rather more effort required than route 1, but it may be more convenient to access the summit area from the south.
