Forestry Commission site with public access. Good tracks, but not all those shown on the OS maps are maintained.

 SO321786 - Ample parking in a wide hard-standing area opposite the forestry access track. However, this could be full of logs after logging operations. There is space available for a couple of cars to the right of the entrance area.
 Use Google Earth / Google Maps to determine which tracks are maintained. Access to the trig is difficult unless a GPS is available. Density of the forest is higher than it appears to be on Google Earth / Google Maps. If you don't want to locate the trig then operation from the side of one of the tracks is easy and I would recommend this for VHF operation.
