A grassy open area at the trig point, although this is technically on private land. Operation from the footpath marked on the OS would be a possibility. The AZ is quite large.

 Walk to the end of the metalled road and continue on with the church on the left around to the edge of the woods. Continue on the farm track up through the steep section at Holloway Rocks to reach the summit plateau. Beware of the pheasants!
