The trig point is in a patch of Access land that is difficult to access. As the Activation Zone is large, it is far easier to activate the hill from Westhope Common to the east, the highest point only being 3m lower.

 SO467518 - Take the narrow single track road up from Westhope. As you approach Westhope Common take the right fork at the Y junction, over the cattle grid onto the common. Park on the right (east) side of the track about 30 metres or so beyond the cattle grid.
 Easy straightforward access around the farm on its eastern side to reach the highest point on the common close to the large oak tree marked on the O.S. map.
