A very pleasant summit with some views out towards the south-east. The trees outside of the inner bank of the hill fort restrict views in other directions. White Park cattle are kept on the hill.

 SO533163 - At the entrance to the woods at Garenew just off the A40 or nearby on the road verge. This spot appears to be quite popular.
 A good vehicle track provides access all the way to the summit area where the trig point is to be found on the inner bank of the hill fort. Keeping to the vehicle track is recommended, though a more direct route cuts steeply up the hillside about half up the track. Note the trees within the inner bank area of the hill fort shown on the OS map were cleared some years ago. (G4OIG)
