A pleasant enough summit, though operation within the woods may restrict low power operation on VHF/UHF.

 SO599229 - Satnav will say Woodmeadow Road, but better to park in Fernbank Road, careful not to block the swing into the driveways opposite.
 Take the footpath running along the right side of the farm access to the field behind the houses in Woodmeadow Road. About 100m along where the footpath swings right, look for a stile giving access to the field, Cross the field diagonally to the edge of the wood where there is another stile. Enter the woods and follow the widest paths to gain height and arrive at the 196m spot height. This is the most convenient operation point, though access to the field on the summit is possible and so to the trig, but note that this is private land.
