Summit is the highest point of the escarpment running roughly North - South. I operated from the footpath choosing a large stone slab to sit on with the antenna pole conveniently bungeed to the fence in front of me. The AZ is large, so you can be less picky with the activating position if you run HF. (Note 2m is fairly quiet on both SSB and FM).

 ST797664 - Country Park car parking area. Room for around 6 or 7 cars. Popular with dog walkers.
 Open access to the country park, but ascend using footpath shown on the OS map with timber fence to the left.
