Check with proprietors of 'Croftland Farm' before walking up to the summit. The present farmer is very accommodating (31/8/14). BEWARE OF BULLS!. Respect the farmer's wishes and be sure to close gates behind you. The summit is situated in the top field and there is plenty of space to erect antennas. This is a very good VHF site.

 The route takes you onto private farm land. From the farm yard turn right and follow the track to the summit. Be sure to close all gates behind you.
