The summit is marked by a reservoir situated beside an odd shaped residence. It is fenced off with 24hr surveillance signage. The local 2m calling frequency is 145.400 (S16) .

 SX937954 - 100m northbound, over the brow of Stoke Hill, is a limited parking area by a gateway. Room for only 1 vehicle and beware of speedy motorists.
 From the parking space, walk back along the road toward the brow of the hill and then descend on the southern side. About 80m on the southern side is an entrance on the left to Moongate End and the entrance to Drakes Meadow. This is in the activation zone with plenty of antenna support. I walked through the gate and northbound the short distance along an obvious track to the reservoir fence. No PROW marked.
