The actual summit is on private land north of the road crossing through the AZ, but there is ample space on the south side of the road where there is Access land (if possible check height using a GPS as the site is steeply sloping).

 SZ550871 - Room for one car at the end of the footpath where it meets the minor road heading down to the pottery.
 Looking down the footpath there is a small section of fence on the right side which can easily be climbed to gain access to the Access land. In summer be careful where you tread - this prime chalk downland is home to the rare blue butterflies. Note that a footpath runs along the northern edge of the Access land and can be accessed higher up the road, but this has a fence topped with barbed wire and if operating HF, it probably is easier to be on the Access land side.
