Full Screen Map This summit is on Access land, which is mainly sheep-grazed pasture. It is a recent HEMA addition
following surveys showing it to have a prominence of 102m. There is plenty of room for HF
dipoles and a good take-off for VHF. A very pleasant summit that is quite easy to get to. Report 1
SO 04365 45852 - Park on the grass at the point where the road bends and a track heads E. To be legal do not go more than 15 yards off the road.
From parking spot walk NW on an obvious grassy track. This might seem like the wrong way as the summit bearing is NNE. However, it avoids some wet areas and is much easier. Soon the track bends to the right and heads generally E. Follow this and you will soon see the TP. A less well-defined path will lead you to the summit. |
