The summit at the Trig point makes a perfect base as it has a wood deck around it and a small fence ideal for antennas/poles etc. There is a fantastic take-off for VHF to the W,NW,N&NE with the flat plain of the Cotswolds in front of the main escarpment. The summit & hill fort can get busy, so be prepared for visitors & questions.
